Something Borrowed…Part 3

Once you have found something old and something new, something borrowed should be a piece of cake! Whatever item you wish to “borrow” remember the meaning behind it. It is typically from someone who has a successful happy marriage. The symbolism behind something borrowed is borrowed happiness. Essentially they are allowing you to “borrow” their martial success by lending you something special. It could be your grandmother’s wedding ring or your mother’s pearl necklace. Even your aunt may have offered to let you borrow her veil?  Whatever it may be, it should be something that has sentimental meaning to both, you and who you are borrowing from. Remember common courtesy and give what you borrowed back after the wedding with a hand written thank you note!

What are you borrowing for your wedding and from whom?
